Welcome to the Session Guide
Thank you for choosing Dynamic Imagery by Becca to photograph your session. The main purpose of this guide is to help plan a stress-free, FUN, and memorable session. We will begin the session one to three hours before sunset or one to two hours after sunrise so that we will achieve the best quality of light. For indoor sessions, the session will be scheduled during the day.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before Your Session:
Prior to your session we will discuss all the specifics of what you are looking for with your session. I will send you a questionnaire to fill out so that I may get a better idea of what you would like from your session. Before the session we will have locations and outfits finalized. If you have any questions, please fee free to reach out to me.
During Your Session:
Photo sessions can range from thirty minutes to an hour. We will meet at a selected location at the specified session time. We will walk around to different locations to add a variety of backgrounds to the session. I’m happy to accommodate any fun posing ideas or props you have!
After Your Session:
As soon as the session is over I will backup the images and begin editing. Editing takes anywhere from 4-5 weeks during the busy season. I will have a sneak peek from the session edited and up on social media within two weeks of the session.
Let’s Talk About What to Wear
The most important advice I can give you in regards to picking out your outfits is to wear what makes you feel confident. Photo sessions are an event, please dress up as if going to an event. When selecting outfits, compliment each other in colors (don’t match each other), and have fun with it! If you like patterns, I suggest pairing one pattern to every three solid color outfits.
When selecting the colors for your session, keep in mind the location you select. If you choose a park or nature setting, select colors that compliment the color green. Those colors would be shades of red, orange, green, and blue. Along with the complimentary colors, include neutral colors such as white, black, grey, or tan.

SELECTING YOUR LOCATION
Let’s go to a place you like to frequently visit or match the locations to your already chosen outfits. We could go to a local park, downtown, or if you have specific locations in mind, please let me know!
Here are some places I enjoy photographing at.
