Favorite 3 Programs for Photographers

Some days it seems it can take hours to go through emails, marketing, and editing. In the beginning I remember being so frustrated and tired with how time consuming the business side could be. I mean really all I wanted was to capture memories for my clients, not spend hours upon hours trying to get my business in order. 

What if I could tell you that running a photography business doesn’t have to feel like you’re going to pull your hair out at any moment. I’m sharing with you three of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE programs that I use to run my business from editing, client management, and social media scheduling, you can take back your time and life.

Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop

My editing software of course had to be my number one favorite program to use! I use both Lightroom and Photoshop throughout my editing process. I’ll first pull all my images into Lightroom, cull through my favorites and adjust the color and exposure. After all the basic adjustments have been done, I will export the photos into Photoshop for a more enhanced editing that includes blemish removal and eye enhancement.

Honeybook

Planonly is an app you download on your phone that allows you to plan and post social media content from. Planoly also allows you to save and categorize hashtags for easy application. This app is a miracle worker! All you need is one day to plan and schedule an entire week or month worth of content.
