Some days it seems it can take hours to go through emails, marketing, and editing. In the beginning I remember being so frustrated and tired with how time consuming the business side could be. I mean really all I wanted was to capture memories for my clients, not spend hours upon hours trying to get my business in order.
What if I could tell you that running a photography business doesn’t have to feel like you’re going to pull your hair out at any moment. I’m sharing with you three of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE programs that I use to run my business from editing, client management, and social media scheduling, you can take back your time and life.
Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
My editing software of course had to be my number one favorite program to use! I use both Lightroom and Photoshop throughout my editing process. I’ll first pull all my images into Lightroom, cull through my favorites and adjust the color and exposure. After all the basic adjustments have been done, I will export the photos into Photoshop for a more enhanced editing that includes blemish removal and eye enhancement.
Honeybook
Let’s chat about the best client management software around. I’ve been using Honeybook since 2017 and it has made communicating with my clients 1000x easier! With Honeybook you can:
- Organize all your client communications by phases
- Send package brochures for you clients to choose from
- Send and sign contracts
- Receive payments
- Manage income and expenses
I cannot praise this software enough. It has saved me so much time and headache within my business. If you’re interested in trying out Honeybook, take 50% off your first year!
